Vidya Balan a Tamilian girl got her 1st opportunity to start her carrier as an actress. She was offered a role in Malyalam movie Chakaram with Mohanlal one of her favourite actors, directed by Pradeep Sarkar but due to some reasons the movie was stopped in the mid-way and Vidya Balan has to wait again for next few years to make her debut in the industry.
After this she made her debut in advertisement of Surf Excel as a model which was directed by Pradeep Sarkar . After that she had lot’s of AD film’s among which most of the film’s were directed by Pradeep Sarkar. After doing the Ad films she also featured in Music albums of ‘Euphoria’, ‘Shubha Mudgal’ and ‘Pankaj Udhas’After that she had lot of Bengali like Bhaalo Theko for which she won the Best Actress Annand Lok Puruskar Award in Kolkata ,
Hanste Khelte and Ekta Kapoors Hum Panch.After this in Mumbai in a top concert she was approached by film maker Vidhu Vinod Chopra for a leading role in Bollywood movie Parineeta again Directed by Pradeep Sarkar .This was her debut in the Bollywood, after this she had given many hit’s like Kismat Konnection, Ishqiya etc. And now she is among the most common names in the Bollywood.
