Though Vidya Balan started her career with television, she seems to have lost interest in it of late. Hum Paanch is considered as one of the most successful comedy show of all times in India Television history.

Under the banner of Balaji Telefilms, Hum Paanch was produced by Ekta Kapoor and directed by Rajan Wagdhare. The star cast of the serial were Rakhi Tandon, Bhairavi Raichura, Vandana Pathak and ofcourse one of the famous celebrity of the bollywood industry Vidya Balan.

This was a sitcom based on the day-to-day happenings in the ‘Mathur’ household. As the title suggests, the serial revolves around the five daughters of Mr. Anand Mathur and his wife Bina. The serial Depicts the day to day sitautions that happen in every home and how they are tackeled accordingly by the members of the family.

But while all the Bollywood biggies are trying to appear on small screen for their puffed up paychecks, what should be the reason behind the cool Kerala girl preferring to stay away from the TV world. As she is too busy in films, she cannot accept shows like Hum Paanch on television. It’s only because tele-shows demand more time.
